All I can say is be careful with the category he has you in. I have a friend in FL who was in a carpet cleaning category with Walters. My local agent sent him some info for his locality... saved him money and got the right category. The wrong category could be a big problem with a claim.

I used to have insurance with them. Now with someone that provides both.

The quote says General liability but I guessI will find out when I get the policy.

I use Joseph Walters as well as many other roof cleaners. They seem relatively reasonable.

They are very reasonable. One insurance agent in my area wanted 2 1/2 times what I pay at Joseph Walters

i would triple check as well.. the roof cleaning category.. is actually in the carpet cleaning category as mentioned above.. I had to go elsewhere

Lee, I agree! Some look at the bottom dollar but what good is that dollar when there is a claim that will not get paid because the claim wasn't a damaged carpet?!

yeah my agent called the company directly and they said "sorry we do not insure anything close to roof cleaning" and the section they wanted to put me in was carpet cleaning... so my agent found me another carrier.. I currently use selective for everything

I've never seen a carpet cleaner on a ladder. Explains the "reasonable" rate. I really wonder what happens if you have a claim and where will Walters be?

My local agent has me in the right classification. If it costs a few dollars more, I'm willing to pay to be covered.

You will find out how great they are when you have a claim. J Walters sold out to another company. In 2013 my rates nearly doubled after paying premiums four years with no claims. They will tell you, you are insured for roof cleaning but you better check it out. Roof cleaning is not janitorial work

Somehow Walters got to be the guy to go to in the roof cleaning world because the rates were "so good" but few were looking at what they were insured for. It makes a big deal when there is a claim and guess what? It isn't the agents fault, it's ours when they won't pay because we aren't cleaning carpets!

I had Erie before I moved here in Ft. Worth. They don't do down here. I got a quote from Nationwide ...$1917...lol Erie was $825
