Don't know if this happens to others, but it seems like our commercial cleanings sometimes trend a certain way. Hard for me to find the right words to explain, but this month has been a great example. For the past 30 days we've been deluged with Hotels.  Some are old customers having services re-done, some are new customers getting a Spray Wash cleaning for the first time. 

We've done the Marriott Residence Inn, Staybridge Suites, Homewood Suites, A Hampton Inn, and next week we begin work on a large Holiday Inn all since late May.

Hotels can be a huge PITA...your work hours are very limited, you really can't work prior to 10AM due to check-outs and hard to work past 4:30 due to check-ins. Management likes to have to property quiet and restful for their guests. Also, the "extended stay" type properties (i.e. Homewood Suites, Residence Inn) have an added bit of difficulty in that the residents essentially treat that room as their apartment. They may come "home" for lunch, or just come and go at any time of the day. 

Its also important to have plenty of extra hands on deck to keep customers safe.

I don't think there really is a "one size fits all" answer I can give you to that question. Hard to quote a per hour amount, as each facility differs due to personnel and equipment. Also each scope of work is different, some hotels have only wanted one wall cleaned, others have wanted every sidewalk, curb and bench cleaned too.
Some of these projects were down in the $1,500 range, some were up in the $7,500 area.

Its one of those areas that understanding how to prove a job like this will come as your experience grows.
