Cleansol BC Product Spec |  Cleansol SDS/MSDS
Cleansol BC can handle virtually every job around the house without scrubbing, including molding, siding, decks, gutters, concrete and awnings. Vehicles and equipment also end up clean, leaving behind a wax-like look. Industrial cleaning professionals will find this product exceptional at brushlessly removing oxidized paint from metal siding and removing black streaks from EIFS. Cleansol BC works well in tandem with HD Britenol for a complete house cleaning package. Its alkaline nature will help neutralize acid based detergents, such as NMD 80 and OneRestore. Cleansol BC is excellent for interior plant clean-up where stains must be removed without damage. This is an extraordinary super concentrate that really produces profits without adding liability.

I have used cleansol for oxidation removal, is it viable to add a little bit into my house wash mix for the waxy feature?

I don't know what that would do. Give Eaco Chem a call.

We used Cleansol on a messed up house. It was pressure washed last year and had the Zoro affect and the north side was already covered with algae. We did a normal house wash, then Cleansol. It was hit with Cleansol twice but never got it like it was in the video. I'll try again on a house that hasn't been messed up.

I have not tried the Cleansol BC, I have tried other chemicals from them but not that one. I guess I will order some and try it out.

We tried it. I was hoping for better results. It didn't melt away the oxidation like I saw in a video. We have decided to just keep brushing when they want oxidation removal. I was talking to someone at Powerwash.com and was told Totally Awesome has the same chemical. We tried it and it worked well, brushing like we always have.

The only thing I've found to actually "effortlessly" remove oxidation is an acid. The most user friendly acid is an aluminum brightener with HF. Most stuff that is touted as being able to remove oxidation is usually Hydroxide Butyl combination,...and,..except for the worst of oxidation it still need to be brushed to get acceptable results. Temperature always makes a difference.

*With all that said,..I haven't washed oxidation from siding for at least 10-15 years. I simply explain that it's not dirt or mold and is part of aging siding. In memory I can remember only one person not getting the work done when explained. PITA,..better to just allow the siding to look uniform,...even if it's oxidized.
