High pressure air

Has anyone here used compressed air to clean roofs? We have a lot of tile roofs here in Ireland covered in moss and I've been thinking about using a compressor to blow off the moss before treating the roof. At the moment we get on the roof and scrape off the moss before treating the roof with biocide. We use SH on slate roofs.  If we used compressed air it would make our job easier without the mess of power washing. My question is how much pressure would we need to shift the moss out of the joints between the tiles without damaging the tiles?

The big clumpy moss would come off pretty well with air but it wouldn’t touch the lichen.

Thanks Eric, the lichen tends to be on the ridge tiles mainly. We use wire brushes to remove it. What kind of psi would I need to shift the moss?

I use a leaf blower. I figured this out blowing leaves and other debris off a roof in the fall a few years back. Roof had a good amount of moss and a lot of it blew off just from the leaf blower. Obviously you want to work from top down.
