I've been using the app "windy" lately. I started using it for surf forecasts and lots of serious fisherman are using it too. Now I'm using it to help with deciding to schedule jobs this time of year when weather is borderline.
You can see weather forecast changes per hour for wind rain temp and basically any other parameter. I'm using the free version and I really find it helpful.
Im heading out today because there is a good window of weather. If it wasnt for this app i would have scheduled this job to the end of the week.
Sunday it was into 15+ most of the day. Yesterday it was windy but the crews were able to complete the jobs. Today it will hit 17+, one crew working on a truck and equipment while the other does sidewalks, decks, walls.
Thanks for the app. I'm checking that out this morning!
It is but goes a lot faster spraying ith an HVLP plus we use a few products named glass mask and mask h20 which are clear acrylic primers that after spraying on you can paint over with an HVLP then cut and peel off the glass so it goes fast. but the temps are way to cold to deal with ànd time is running out.
plus roof mix is not so useful at these temps. scaffold needs to come down Wednesday

I tried the app and didn't like it. We use Weather Underground and Hyperlocal Weather.
Maverick... no fun doing that work when it's so cold. Nice Job!
Brett what didnt you like about it? How long did you try it for?
I wish I could tell you, it's been about a week. I am just used to Weather Underground, Dark Sky and My Radar for tracking storms so we know whether to keep working of pack up.
