I just bought the hose from Home Depot. I think I paid like $259.15 with tax for 200" of hose. It works well but by the end of the Season it will start to wear. Then I repair it twice and it gets shit caned

I think it's a combination of two things. One wire and the outer jacket getting worn and now the wire is exposes and dragging as well. We have had it bust in areas with little wear as well as areas with a lot of wear. Both hoses I bought didn't last like the quality 2 wire hose I buy.

Yes, it really is getting harder to find 200'. One plus for having 100' on the real with extra 100' & 50' on the truck is when a hose breaks, we don't lose the use of 200'. Easy fix in the field with the extra hose. When working and we need more hose we just pull it off the wall. We've tried just about everything and this has worked the best for us.

Cheaper is seldom the best way to go. A better price for something that works and has proved its worth, is another thing. I won't buy this hose again.

That hose SUCKs, blow after a month. Last years hose was thicker. Got it fixed for $30

I can't find anywhere whether it's one or two wire. All it says is, Dual-braided construction of steel over polyester. I looked on the Simpson site for more information but there was nothing more than what HD had.

I will never by single wire again. The Lowe's hose was a complete waste of money and might work okay for the occasional use of a home owner.

  Going back, pure junk. I called the Simpson rep. He said he would send me a new hose, Didn't happen. I ordered  a new Pressure Pro hose. The Simpson hose is going back to Home Depot
